Salt and Light Ministries grew up around the leadership of Barney Coombs as an international family of leaders and churches who have been drawn together by a common desire to see the Body of Christ grow to be all God wants it to be. We believe in strong, loving and committed relationships within local churches and across the Body of Christ throughout the nations.

An apostolic family: We recognise that God is restoring to the church many New Testament ministries to equip the church for dynamic and effective mission to the world.
| We are a family: As a family of churches we are united by a conviction that God has joined us in relationship. We believe that every pastor needs a pastor; that every church needs apostolic or five-fold ('Ephesians 4') ministry that may not be available locally; and that every healthy church will see itself as part of something larger.
